Business Development Executive.

We’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled business development executive to join our growing team at Advent Informatics Pvt Ltd. Advent Informatics, is a prominent distributor of software solutions and services for the life science and pharma sector in India (https://adventinformatics.com/).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue and closing new opportunities for our business growth.

Responsibilities
• Build a sales pipeline and meet the sales targets by closing sales deal independently for multiple solutions offered by Advent.
• Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
• Develop a strong knowledge of products and services offered by Advent in order to facilitate the sales process.
• Identify opportunities, Generate Leads and convert them to build relationships with new clients.
• Preparing reports and forecasts on a regular basis as directed by the management.
• Travel within South – India (50% -60% travel) for sales meetings and negotiations as and when needed.
• Run targeted sales & marketing campaigns for business development in co-ordination with the team and get feedback from clients.
• Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short-and long-term business development plans.

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Graduate degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Science, or related domains.
• Experience with computation tools for drug discovery and Bioinformatics is an added advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in the Life Science/ Informatics domain is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, vocal and written, coupled with receptive listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence.
• Strong analytical, networking, and management skills.
• Hands-on experience with CRM software is an added advantage but not mandatory.
• Skilful in preparing presentations to showcase the company’s product portfolio.
